    @NOLAnews We all know whoever bought Entergy’s holdings in Nola would hire the existing employees, then they’d try to be more efficient and layoff 25% of them, then another hurricane hits and they’d be scrambling just like Entergy did to restore power and end up hiring them back.

    @icebox12386 Yeah I took a closer look. Maybe at&t? I don't think we have cox out here but I have RTC and my service works so I know it's not that wire lol. I watched the Entergy guy pull it out some packaging and attach it but I guess maybe he was just being nice to the cable ppl lol

    I applaud the City Council utilities committee for launching bold investigations today. No, seriously. The most interesting investigation looks at restructuring the entire relationship with Entergy. Too bad it took so much death and destruction to get here.

    @LakeviewLife "much of the city" is 51%? "Most of the city" (90%) didn't get their power back until 15 days after the storm. The city may have been established 300 years ago but Entergy has failed in maintaining its power grid sufficiently to avoid an entire city going dark in 2021.

    @BasinStRecords Entergy only maintains vegetation on the main distribution lines. The service line from the pole to the home is maintained by the customer. If the lines run from pole to house the customer will need to contact a tree cutter, then schedule with Entergy.
