Submerged City: Chronicles of the 2005 Mumbai Flood & my experience. The saying goes that if you've managed to navigate through life in Mumbai, you're prepared to settle down in any corner of the world. In the year 2005, I personally witnessed this truth when I found myself confined to my office for nearly four days due to heavy rain & flood situation. The top highest rainfall records in millimeters within a single day, country-wise:1. Réunion (France) : On 7–8 January 1966 , during the passage of tropical cyclone Denise, a record-breaking 1,825 mm of rain fell in 24 hours at Foc-Foc (elevation: 2,990 m; 9,810 ft) on the French island territory of Réunion in the Indian Ocean.2. India : On 26 July 2005 , Mumbai experienced extreme rainfall, recording 1,168 mm in a single day.3. USA : Alvin, Texas, holds the national record with 1,156 mm of rainfall in 24 hours on 25–26 July 1979.4. Australia : On 3 February 1893 , the town of Crohamhurst in Queensland received 907 mm of rain in a single day.5. Guyana : Belladrum recorded 840 mm of rainfall in a day in 1942.6. Seychelles : On 15 January 1995 , the island of La Digue experienced 695 mm of rain.7. Japan : f*ckuoka received 567 mm of rainfall on 20 August 1982.8. China : Zhengzhou recorded 493 mm of rain on 20 July 2021.9. Italy : Genoa experienced 496 mm of rainfall on 10 September 1970.These records highlight extreme weather events from around the world, often leading to significant impacts on the affected regions .

Another notable option is Google’s Virtual Try-On.Google’s Virtual Try-On: Google has introduced a feature that uses generative AI to let you see clothes on a range of models with different skin tones and body types. This tool can take a single image of clothing and show how it would look on various real models.Have a look to this link.https://lnkd.in/dk7wp8cJWe suggest that fashion retailers currently enhancing their e-commerce platforms consider exploring Google offerings. We’re ready to showcase a demo and engage in a detailed discussion, leveraging our strong partnership with Google as their premium partner.Louay Shaat Laith Massarweh Alina Rückert Abdullah Safi Google Google Cloud

I believe it was sheer luck that nothing happened, as I don't consider Porsches to be immune to floodwaters. 🌊🚗However below are some vehicles known for their flood resilience:1. Land Rover Defender : It can handle up to 900mm (35.4 inches) of water when driven gently. Even in deeper water, the Defender can still make it as long as you slow down to avoid breaking the drivetrain. With a ground clearance of 8.86 inches , it's well-equipped to tackle most floodwaters.2. Toyota Fortuner : It boasts a ground clearance of 8.7 inches and can go through floodwaters up to 27.5 inches deep.3. Subaru Forester :It can navigate up to 19.6 inches of floodwater, but it's essential to limit speed to crawl speed to prevent engine submersion. With a ground clearance of 8.7 inches , the Forester is ideal for outdoor adventures like hiking or camping.

Apologies for the late post. I am a strong believer in the blockchain and cryptocurrency asset class.During an expo, I received this award for sharing positive insights with my social media followers. Let me reiterate: choose a proper asset, practice dollar-cost averaging (DCA), and have faith in holding for the long term rather than being a day trader.

The Digital Canvas: Unveiling the Advantages of NFT ArtworkAmidst the relentless downpour that prolonged my stay at the World Blockchain Show in the Grand Hyatt Dubai, the silver lining was the chance to intimately explore the world of Digital NFT paintings. My view on Digital NFT vs Traditional PaintingsDigital NFT (Non-Fungible Token) paintings offer several advantages over traditional paintings, which can make them appealing to both artists and collectors in the digital age:Ownership and Provenance : NFTs provide a clear and indisputable proof of ownership and provenance. Each NFT is unique and cannot be replicated, which ensures that the digital artwork's history and originality are preserved on the blockchainAccessibility and Distribution :Digital NFT art can be easily accessed and viewed online by a global audience. This broadens the reach of artists and allows for instant distribution without the need for physical shipping or storage.Monetization and Royalties : Artists can monetize their digital works directly through NFT sales. Additionally, smart contracts can be used to ensure that artists receive royalties from secondary sales, providing a continuous revenue stream.Interactivity and Innovation : NFTs can incorporate interactive elements and multimedia, such as animation, music, or virtual reality, offering new forms of artistic expression that are not possible with traditional paintings.Market Dynamics : The NFT market allows for a more democratic and open trading environment. Artists can sell their work without the need for traditional gallery representation, and collectors can purchase art regardless of their physical location. It's important to note that while NFTs offer these benefits, traditional paintings still hold significant cultural and historical value. The choice between digital NFT art and traditional art often depends on personal preferences and the specific goals of artists and collectors. Both forms of art have their own unique qualities and can coexist in the art world.Global Blockchain Show
